Virginia Dunfee Hallam, 63, of Washington, died Friday, March 24, 2000, in Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

She was born October 17, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of the late Calvin P. and Bertha Mae Brownlee Dunfee.

On March 9, 1957, in Washington, she married Wayne Sheridan Hallam, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Deborah Hallam Leivengood and Donna Hallam Hartzell, both of Washington; four brothers, Donald Dunfee of Washington, William Dunfee of Ravenna, Ohio, Richard Dunfee of McDonald and Paul Dunfee of San Bernardino, Calif.; seven sisters, Nettie Ackroyd, Goldie Fields and Mary Andrews, all of Washington, Delcie Fidler of Rochester, Ruth Foflygen of McDonald, Evelyn Potter of Mojave, Calif., and Grace Foflygen of Atlasburg; two grandchildren, Sky DeSensi and Patience Alexandria Hartzell; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two sons, Wayne Markley and James Sheridan Hallam; two brothers, Harold and Robert Dunfee; and a sister, Pearl Stoner.

HALLAM – Friends of Virginia Dunfee Hallam of Washington, who died Friday, March 24, 2000, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sun- day and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Piatt & Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, with the Rev. Robert Davison officiating. Interment will follow in North Buffalo Cemetery.

She was buried in March 2000 in North Buffalo Presbyterian Cemetery, Washington, Washington Co., PA, Findagrave #131034199.
