Graveside services for Lawrence Milton Parshall, 21-year-old Gig Harbor man who drowned in Horseshoe Lake Monday, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Haven of Rest Memorial Park, Gig Harbor. The Rev. Gene Moen will officiate. Burial will be directed by the Perkins Funderal Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Austin, Gary and Herbert Shadbolt, Pat Clancy and Danny and Gordon Parshall.
Mr. Parshall, of Box 286, Rt. 1, Gig Harbor, was born in Lancaster, Calif., and moved to Gig Harbor from Centralia in 1942. He was a member of the Peninsula Lutheran Church and was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Marlene, and son, Randle K., of Watsonville, Calif.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Parshall of Gig Harbor; two brothers, Gordon of Tacoma and Danny L. of Gig Harbor; two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Lyda of Lancaster and Mrs. Gay Cramblit of Tacoma; and his grandmother, Mrs. Francis Carpenter of Washington, Pa.
He was buried in May 1957 in Haven of Rest Cemetery, Gig Harbor, Pierce Co., WA, Findagrave #87764636.

Marlene M. Foxworthy passed away peacefully in her home on the morning of May 20th, 2017. Marlene was born October 25th, 1935 to Mildred and Henry McMaster in Watsonville, California. Marlene was a long-time member of the United Methodist Church of Los Banos and very active in her church and loved serving in the local Mana Meals Ministries.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years George W. Foxworthy and her two sons, Chris Foxworthy (47) and Randy Foxworthy (61), her grandchildren Adam Foxworthy, Cody Mitchel, Nicole Foxworthy, Anthony Foxworthy and Jacob Foxworthy, Christopher Foxworthy and Danny Foxworthy and her two great grandchildren, Liam and Elliot Foxworthy.
Memorial services will be held at Los Banos United Methodist Church on June 10th with fellowship to follow at the church's social hall.

Kathern Ann Snook, 86, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at the Life Care Center, Casper.
She was born August 4, 1922 in Princeton, MO to Charles and Alma Minshall.
During WWII Kathern worked as a welder in the Oregon Ship Yards. After the war she married Robert Snook of Lingle, WY. Robert and Kathern moved to Casper around 1958 where they raised 3 children.
Kathern was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed being a homemaker, gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son John of Casper; 2 daughters, Elizabeth Henke of Santee, CA and JoAnna Anderson of Oregon City, OR; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, daughter Roberta Louise and 8 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 10, 2009 at 10 AM in Calvary Baptist Church. A private burial will be in Wyoming Memorial Gardens.
Contributions may be made to the Children's Bible Camp fund in care of Calvary Baptist Church, 1800 S. Conwell, Casper, or to the Gideon's.
Newcomer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
