Donald Olsen
Donald Olsen, 56, of 515 W. Oakland Ave, was found dead at his home at 2:55 p.m. Friday. Services will be Monday 1:30 p.m. at the Stubblefield Funeral Home, the Rev. Fred Belcher officiating. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery, Downs.
Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Olsen was born at Bloomington Nov. 28, 1922, a son of Delmar and Grace Bell Olsen. He married Marian Riley May 20, 1944. She survives.
He also is survived by three sons; Virgil, 9A Northmeadow Village, Normal; Thomas, Downs; Charles, Ellsworth; Ellsworth; a daughter, Patricia, at home; two brothers, Vryon and Victor; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and three sisters. Mr. Olsen was a member of the! Laborer's International Union Local 362; and a veteran of World War II.
He was buried in July 1979 in Hopewill Cemetery, Downs, McLean Co., IL, Findagrave #65982088.
Donald W. Olsen, Sr., began military service WW II service, U.S. Army.
