Mrs. Minnie May Davis, wife of Lowell F. Davis, died at the family residence, 1333 Sixth street NW, at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday following a brief illness. Born June 14, 1890 at Fredonis, Kansas, she lived there until coming to Cedar Rapids 45 years ago. On March 5, 1913, in Cedar Rapids, she was married to Lowell F. Davis. Besides her husband, she is survived by five children. Dorothy, Margaret, and Kenneth, all at home, and Elmer and Robert, both of Cedar Rapids; a sister; Mrs. Milvoy Mally of Cedar Rapids, a brother Donald Copp of Manley, Iowa; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Home Rebekah lodge No. 72. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Friends may call at the Turner chapel.

Richard Dean Davis, 42, a former resident of Cedar Rapids, was fatally injured Nov. 5 in a construction accident at San Antonio, Texas.
He was born at Cedar Rapids on Feb. 10, 1943, and attended Cedar Rapids schools. He was an Army veteran.
Surviving are a son, Jacob, of San Antonio; his father, Robert of Colorado Springs, Colo.; six brothers, William Davis, Ronnie Robertson and Donald Spalti, all of Cedar Rapids, Kenneth Robertson of Aurora, Colo., and Rodney Spalti and J. C. Duncan, both of Jefferson City, Mo.; four sisters, Donna Becker and Roberta Franks, both of Tucson, Ariz., Nola Marie Higgins of Ellsworth, Maine, and Lynn Joy Duncan, Jefferson City, Mo; and his grandmother, Anna Williams, Cedar Rapids.

Ralph Earnest Franks, 717 Wilson ave. SW, Cedar Rapids resident since 1920 and a 20-year employee of Collins Radio Co., died suddenly Monday.
Born at Manchester Dec. 28, 1907, he was affiliated with St. Patrick's church. Surviving are his wife, Viola Orr Franks, to whom he was married at Waterloo May 5, 1930; 3 sons, Ralph, Jr., and Henry, both of Cedar Rapids, and Claude, with the Air Force at Goose Bay, Labrador; 2 daughters, Kathleen Franks Lewis and Sue Ann Franks, and his mother, Mrs. Grace Franks, all of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Abigail Waite of Luzerne; 2 brothers, John, Jr., and Theodore, both of Cedar Rapids, and 8 grandchildren.
