Owen W. Warren
M, #142561
Biography
Note: This appears to be the same individual who marred Adda Snodgrass on 9 OCT 1894 in Pottawatomie County, listed on the 1895 Kansas state census at Kaw, Wabaunsee County (born Iowa, age 30, single, farming), married Carrie Shaw on 22 MAR 1896, Pottawatomie County, married Lola Blanche Ipson on 10 DEC 1903 at Beatrice, Gage County, Nebraska, died in 1951 at Las Animas County, Colorado. Since Carrie was using her maiden name when she married Charles Graham in 1899, I assume she divorced Owen Warren sometime prior that marriage. DLB 2020.

Parents
Biography
Gerald George Scott was born on 28 June 1953 in Modesto, Stanislaus Co., CA. He died on 15 May 1954 in Riverbank, Stanislaus Co., CA,
Obituary -- (Findagrave.com):
On June 28, 1953 Gerald and Bernice welcomed a son, Gerry. Upon his arrival, there were some complications with the birth, and his oxygen supply to the brain was compromised, resulting in a form of cerebral palsy. The doctors warned them to have him put away, in an institution, that he would have no quality of life whatsoever. Well, if anyone reading this has had the opportunity to meet either one of my grandparents, you would know, that that would have never been an option. Broken wing or not, they were going to take their angel home. This is a virtue that both my grandparents were blessed with, no matter who you are, or how broken you may be, they would accept you. No matter what, you would be loved. For the next ten months my grandparents and their son learned the meaning of true love and dedication. My grandmother tube-fed Gerry, and took him to physical therapy, and ran a house, all while raising a four year old daughter. My grandfather also worked, at one time, three jobs to pay for all the medical expenses. They were truly amazing people. On a summer morning in May of 1954, Bernice was in her living room, when she had a strange feeling come over her, mother's intuition, perhaps. I have heard my grandmother recite this many times, and it plays in my mind so vividly, I almost feel like I was there. When she walked into the kitchen, there sat Gerry in his highchair. She has said that it was like there was a glow to his face, like a halo of light was around him. He smiled at her, then he was gone. To this day, you can still see the hurt, the loss that she feels. Today, their son, my mother's brother, and my uncle is loved and missed by each and everyone of us. Amanda Serrano.
He was buried in May 1954 in Modesto Citizens Cemetery, Modesto, Stanislaus Co., CA, Findagrave #57578971.
