Burt and Lottie raised a foster daughter, Evelyn Viola Hagberg (1926-2009), who is listed on the 1940 census living with the Johnsons. Evelyn, born 12 Jul 1926 at Yell Twp., Boone County, was the daughter of John G. Hagberg and Helga C. Johnson. Her mother may have been distantly related to Burt's father, George Johnson. Evelyn married Karl Henry Killinger on 30 OCT 1944 at Ogden. Evelyn Killinger was listed in Paul Johnson's obituary as his sister.

Paul M. Johnson, 81, of Ogden died of cancer Friday at home . Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Community United Methodist Church, of which he was a member, with burial at Glenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson, a farmer, was a lifelong resident of Ogden.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; two sons, Tim of West Des Moines and Douglas of Las Vegas; a daughter, Joan Lingren of Ogden; and a sister, Evelyn Killinger of Des Moines.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Carson Funeral Home.

Timothy Johnson, age 73, formerly of Ogden and Boone, died October 4, 2019 at the Accura Healthcare in Ames after a heroic battle with leukemia.
Following Tim’s wishes, he has been cremated. A Memorial Service will be Thursday, October 10 at 11:00 a.m., at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Ogden.
Timothy Kurtis Johnson, was born in Ogden, Iowa on September 30, 1946, the son of Paul M. and Ruth (Rose) Johnson.
Tim grew up on the family farm west of Ogden and attended the Ogden Community School for his elementary education. He enjoyed working with his dad on the farm. One of their favorite projects was building the go-kart track in Ogden. He loved racing his go-kart. His high school years were spent at Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, Missouri graduating in 1964. Tim joined the Iowa National Guard and served 11 years with the 1064th Transportation Company from Boone.
He farmed until the Farm Crisis of the early 80’s and then moved to Texas where he sold insurance for Farm Bureau until retirement. He married Eileen Portwood in Dalhart, Texas on November 4, 2000. Tim later remodeled hotel rooms for Hilton Inns on the east and west coast and returning to Iowa, worked at Ball Plastics in Ames, and finally operated E J Cleaning and Painting, with his wife Eileen.
Tim enjoyed woodworking, watching old western movies, reading westerns, snowmobiling, and occasionally cooking. Tim loved spending time and fishing at Cool Wing Lake in Minnesota, coffee with friends at the Iron Horse and spending time with his buddy, Blackie Lu, his black lab.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Doug, and his dog, Blackie Lu. Tim is survived by his wife, Eileen of Ames; a son, Troy Johnson of Norfolk, Nebraska; a daughter, Lisa Porter and companion, Rick Miller of Boone; a sister, Joan (Verne) Lingren of Ogden; grandson, Kyle (Alissa) Morgan and granddaughter, Kortney Morgan.

Beulah B. Gibson, 96 of Afton, died Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at the Afton Care Center.
Beulah Bernice Gibson was born July 30, 1911 in Asbury, Missouri to Lydia (Elliott) and James W. Oneall. Beulah graduated from Creston High School. On January 10, 1931 she was united in marriage to Tom Gibson in Corning. After marriage they lived Northwest of Afton, then moved to Lathrop, Mo., where they lived for 9 years, where they managed a farm and Beulah was a homemaker. Tom died in December 1970. Beulah has lived in Afton since 1972.
Beulah was a member of the United Methodist Church in Afton; P.E.O.; Union County Rural Choir and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her four daughters: Kae Rusk of Afton; Beth Fleming of West Des Moines; Jo Lacina of Afton; Ann Gibson of Dalhart, Tex; two sons: Dan Gibson of Collinsville, Ok; William Gibson of Owasso, Ok; thirteen grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; one sister Beth Porter of Afton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Tom, and a brother, Hugh Oneall and one great-grandson: Matthew Glover.

Douglas Milford Johnson, 57, died Friday in a Las Vegas hospital.
He was born Oct. 15, 1940, in Ogden, Iowa. A Navy veteran, he was an aircraft mechanic, a 13-year resident of Las Vegas and a member of the Masons and Shriners.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; daughter, Tamera Hixon; mother, Ruth; brother, Timothy; sister, Joan Lingren; and one grandchild.
Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society handled arrangements.

Shawnie Correy-Jensen, 41, died April 1, 2009.
She was born March 4, 1968, in Fullerton. She was a member of the class of 1986 at Don Lugo High School.
She is survived by her parents, Gary and Jerry Correy; sisters, Wendy Bradfield and Chris Azares; and her sons Cody and Hayden.
Burial was April 4 in Idaho. A memorial service was held Friday, April 17, 2009, at Stone Funeral Home in Upland. Donations may be made to the Shawnie Jensen Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 2032, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91729. The fund was established for the education of her sons.
