Norbert "Bert" Ulbrich, 93, of Sarasota passed on Sunday, October 14, 2012.
Born in South Wilmington, Illinois, Mr. Ulbrich was a local resident for 24 years. He retired from Midcon Corp. after almost 50 years of service. Mr. Ulbrich was also a past Post Commander of the Peoples Gas American Legion Post #336. He proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard in WWII.
Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Roberta; sons, Richard Ulbrich; Roger Ulbrich; daughter, Diane (Gary) Tischler.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 11am at Sarasota National Cemetery. GILMER - Graveside services for Robert E. "Bob" Sorber, 81, of Gilmer, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at Sparkman Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas, with the Rev. Wayne McKay officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
Mr. Sorber passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2008, in Longview.
Bob was born August 2, 1926, in Chicago, Ill., to John and Margaret Sorber. He was an inspector for Xerox.
