Hans N. Gulseth, 67, of 1032 Glenview Dr., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning at home.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Edmund Olson will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Gulseth was born April 15, 1904, at Green Valley, Wis., son of the late Andrew and Josephine Rood Gulseth. He was a mason contractor by trade, owner of the Manitowoc Builders and also served as president of Gulseth Construction Co. He married Ruth P. Braunel Oct. 12, 1935, at Manitowoc. Mr. Gulseth was a member of the Master Builders Association of Manitowoc County and a 48 year member of the Brick Layers Union Local No. 12.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Vern of Manitowoc and Norman and Donald of Rt. 4, Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs. Peter (Janet) Emmert of Manitowoc; four brothers, Albert of Manitowoc, Elmer of Green Bay, Melvin of Iron Mountain, Mich., and Sam of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a sister, Florence White of Santa Barbara and 10 grandchildren.
A sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral home, Manitowoc, (Ninth Street entrance) from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and until noon Thursday and then at the church until the time of service.Memorials may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund.

Harry was lost in Lake Michigan while flying an air boat for the U.S. Navy. There were three on the plane at the time and all were lost. Three days later reckage of the plane washed up on the shore in Michigan. He was a career Navy man and was to retire in a few weeks. Harry was survived by his wife Bertha and baby daughter Barbara. Six months after his death Bertha gave birth to their second daughter Hannah.
He was buried, Findagrave #67757369. Body lost at Lake Michigan.
