Clyde E. Craft, 99, of Apache Junction, Ariz., formerly of La Porte City and Jesup, died Thursday, Feb. 19, at Apache Junction Health Care Center.

He was born Sept. 3, 1909, in Zearing, son of J.W. and Myrtle Perry Craft. He married Norma Christian Oct. 9, 1930, in Zearing. He later married Sue Lauffer on Sept. 16, 1978, in Giard.

Mr. Craft was a farmer for many years in the La Porte City area.

Survived by: his wife; a son, Duane (Joanne) of La Porte City; six grandchildren, Debra (Lee) Rottinghaus of Jesup, Allen (Joyce) Craft of Colesburg, Angie (Mike) Reinert of Cedar Rapids, Teri (Dwaine) Brown of La Porte City, Courtney (Karen) Mether of Benson, Minn., and Stephanie (Dean) Abner of Kerkhoven, Minn.; 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mae Schrader of La Porte City.

Preceded in death by: his parents; a daughter, Diane Mether; a grandson, Theodore Mether; five brothers, Vaughn, Leslie, Don, Ray and Leland Craft; and two sisters, Leola Christians and Marie Johnson.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul United Methodist Church, with burial in West View Cemetery, both in La Porte City. Visitation for an hour before services Wednesday at the church. La Porte City Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Milton Robert KNIGHT - W7MZO

Milton Robert Knight passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 19th, in Kirkland after a courageous battle against cancer. Bob was born in Seattle and graduated from Queen Anne High School. He served two years in the Army Signal Corp near Anchorage, AK. He graduated from Whitworth College in Spokane with a degree in Physics and Engineering. He worked for 39 years as a design engineer and supervisor for United Control/Sundstrand Data Control in Redmond.

Upon retirement, Bob organized and volunteered with the Kirkland Amateur Radio Emergency Service. He also was a volunteer for the Puget Sound Blood Center. He was an ordained deacon and elder in several Presbyterian churches in the area.

Bob will be dearly missed by many, especially by his wife, Anna Lou; sons, David (Sandee) and Douglas (Marci); brother, William (Dorothy); sister, Marilyn; granddaughters, Arianne (Josh), Ashley, and Ariel; and two great grandsons, Michael and Alex.

Tuesday, November 25th, a memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Lake Forest Park Presbyterian Church, 17440 Brookside Blvd. NE in Lake Forest Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Summer Camp Fund of Children's Hospital and Medical Center.



He was buried in November 2008, Findagrave #144694314.
