Carey Lee Clegg, 49, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. Carey was born in Evansville, Indiana on October 20, 1970 to the late Gary and Jennie (Parker) Clegg.

He attended Reitz High School and worked various production line jobs in the Evansville area his entire life. He loved to spend his free time with his family, watching baseball, and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Carey is survived by his daughter, Kiera Howe (Adam) of Chandler, IN; son, Lee Clegg (Angela) of Evansville, IN; brothers, Jasen Clegg (LeAnn) of Newburgh, IN, James Clegg of Evansville, IN; half-brothers, Rodney Wagner and Jeffrey Wagner (Kathy) both of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Malachi Spainhoward, Anderson Howe, Aubrey Clegg, Kayleigh Clegg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Carey was also preceded in death by his brother, Derrick Clegg.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 9:00 am until service time on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Browning Funeral Home. Published in Courier Press, February 29, 2020.
