MRS. MARY W. SNAPP
Mrs. Mary Wilhoit Snapp, 67, 120 E. Highland Road, died Friday, Dec. 6, 1991, at Asbury Center after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Snapp was a Greene County native and had lived in Johnson City since 1969. She was a daughter of Eula Mitchell Wilhoit, Jackson, Miss., and the late Herbert Wilhoit.
Mrs. Snapp was a member of Cedar Grove Methodist Church, Greene County.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Thad Snapp; one son, Kevin Snapp, Johnson City; one daughter, Janice Snapp, Johnson City; one brother, Jack Wilhoit, Jackson; three sisters, Gean Shelton, Knoxville, Billie Styles, Alliquippa, Pa., and Judy Berry, Rheatown community; one grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was buried in December 1991 in Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, Washington Co., TN, Findagrave #72041575.
Mary Evelyn Wilhoit lived on 26 August 1961 in 428 West Poplar Street, Johnson City, Washington Co., TN.

Glenda Sue Farrell, age 75 years 7 months and 17 days, a life long Johnston County area resident passed away on Friday. She was born on July 21, 1936 to Paul Eugene and Sibyle (Smith) Black in Frederick, Oklahoma. Glenda came to Johnston County at the age of 6 and she was a Milburn area resident. She attended school at Oklahoma City Southeastern High School. She worked as a clerical secretary for DHS. Glenda was a part of the VFW Auxiliary and the Sierra Club. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved animals, the outdoors, camping and fishing. She passed away Friday, March 9, 2012 in Houston, Texas.
She is survived by her sons, Ricky Eugene Farrell of Hurley, MS, Ben E. Farrell of Kingston; daughters, Paula Sue Heath and husband Larry, Linda Darlene Bailey and husband Roy and Patricia Ann Lenex all of Milburn; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, along with many dear and loved friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Sibyle Black; brothers, Robert Eugene Black, Roger Charles Black and Kenneth McRay Black; sister, Geraldine Estelle Lamer. Services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 1 pm at Brown's Chapel in Madill, OK. Interment will be at Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn, OK.
She was buried in March 2012 in Condon Grove Cemetery, Milburn, Johnston Co., OK, Findagrave #86832772.

Services for Bertha E. (Betty) Welch, 88, of Kilgore will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the Rader Funeral Home chapel with the Dr. R. Clayton Worden officiating.
Burial will be at Kilgore Cemetery.
Mrs. Welch died today at Kilgore Nursing Center.
Born March 11, 1905, in Barbra (sic) County, Kan., she had been a resident of Kilgore since 1932. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church in Kilgore. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Jay E. Welch in 1977.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Welch of Conroe and Mrs. Mabel Rogers of Sun City, Ariz.; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Melva Marie Barton
Melva Marie Barton of Dickinson, Texas, passed away the morning of March 9th, 2007. She was 87 years of age and is survived by her son, Robert Brown of Winfield, Kansas and daughter, Diana Hamrick of Seabrook, Texas.
She was known to her family and friends as Marie and was born to Mattie and Ozzie York on January 14, 1920, in Buffalo, Texas.
She was fortunate to have had the joy of 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She lived a rich, full, life, married to Jack Barton for over 35 years and working joyously for Clear Creek ISD as the pastry manager. She had many loving friends and was a devoted lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary, where she could be seen on many occasions dancing with her close friend, Jerry. She will be deeply missed.
The celebration of her life will be held at graveside services in Webster, Texas at Forest Park East on Tuesday, March 13th at 3:00 P.M.
