Mrs. Urilla A. Long, Hutchinson resident the past nine years, died at 1:16 a.m. Tuesday at her home, 114 South Adams, after a brief illness.

She was born Dec. 23, 1886, in Mason-Dixon, Pa. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson and Sons chapel with Rev. H. E. Shappell officiating. A second service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Church of the Brethren, Quinter, with Rev. D. Floyd Crist officiating. Burial will be at Quinter cemetery.

She was the widow of Albertus R. Long, who died June 20, 1942. Surviving: five daughters, Mrs. Alta R. Dawson, 124 West B; Mrs. Louise Bedrad, 229 West Ninth; Mrs. Lanah Wiens, Lyons; Mrs. Rose Hurd, Walton, Ky., and Mrs. Evia Clute, Rocky Ford, Colo.; a son, Otha C. He was a native of Arkansas. He had lived in the Kerman 10 years and 40 years in Tranquility. He was a farm laborer.
