William W. Carr, age 83, of Columbus, and a former resident of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at his home. He was born April 20, 1930 in Vinton County, Ohio, the son of the late Virgil W. Carr and Helen McKinniss Carr.

He was a 1948 graduate of Wilkesville High School and he was retired from the Federal Glass Company in Columbus. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Logan, the General Assembly of the Moose Lodge, the V.F.W. in Columbus and the Am Vets in Jackson.

He is survived by
three sons and daughters-in-law, Ron Carr and Mitzi Campbell of Indiana, Randy and Linda Carr of Columbus and Rick and Sally Carr of Columbus;
