MIDLAND Jerry Lee Kelso was born August 20, 1945 to James and Ruth Kelso in Yakima, WA.

He passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in Odessa, TX. Jerry moved to Texas as a young man where he met and married Judith Kay Fisher on October 14, 1963. They had three children, Jerry, Todd, and Kim as well as nine grandchildren, Tyler, Sloane, Sidney, Colten, Conner, Tanner, Matthew, Jaysun, and Ryan.

He worked hard his entire life to take care of his family. With Jerry, his family was everything. He enjoyed and truly loved spending time outdoors with his children and grandchildren, fishing and hunting.

Family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 8, 2012. A funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2012 in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Frazier officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home of Midland.

Don Hardy Hodnett was born on 19 February 1930 in Hermleigh, Scurry Co., TX; son of Harvey Jewell and Ethel Rosa (Long) Hodnett. He married JoAnn Fisher daughter of Joseph Henry Fisher and Nellie Irene Scott, about 1950 in Andrews Co., TX; Don remarried to Madilyn Marie Cloniger about 1958 and had at least one more child, Donna Marie (Hodnett) Gant (1959-2015). He remarried again to Evelyn Lee Whitworth on 3 FEB 1966 at Gaines Co., TX. Don Hardy Hodnett and JoAnn Fisher were divorced about 1958. He died on 9 May 1989.
