Lydia Josephine James
F, #159502, b. 30 November 1881, d. 30 January 1973
Biography
Lydia Josephine James was born on 30 November 1881 in Johnson Twp., Maries Co., MO; daughter of George Washington and Triza Missouri (Hart) James. 1900 census shows the birth year 1882, however, her brother Lee Lord James shows APR 1883 on the same census, which combination is not possible. He later claimed (WW II draft registration) that he had been born in 1882 -- also not possible if Lydia was actually born in 1881, which is what her later documentation shows. DLB 2025.
