Suzanne A. Hopstad Lyle, a Tulalip, Washington, resident, was born February 3, 1970, in Anchorage, Alaska, and passed away February 3, 2006, in Everett. She traveled early with her family, extensively while her dad was in the Coast Guard, finally settling in Snohomish County.

A great and loving wife and mother, she is survived by her husband, Mark Lyle; children, Mark Lyle Jr., Willie T. Lyle, Toryan Hopstad, of South Carolina, Teayona Allen, Miesha Allen, and Mikaeyella Allen, all of Louisiana; mother, Patricia Hopstad; father, Melvin Hopstad, and his wife, Elaine; brothers, Ken Hopstad, Bob Hopstad, and Mike Hopstad; uncles, Chuck Cudmore, Bud Cudmore, and Robert (Nadene) Cudmore; great-aunt and uncle, Dorothy and Bud Ireland; special aunts, Jo and Carol; special uncle, Sunny Sam; and numerous nephews, nieces, and many friends. Suzanne is also survived by the entire Lyle family, who treated her as a sister and aunt. She had numerous friends at N.A. and enjoyed Saturday nights with Red Road to Recovery.

A viewing service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2006, at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home. The Interfaith Service will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, at Tulalip Tribal Center, 6700 Totem Beach Road, Tulalip. Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, February 9, also at the Tulalip Tribal Center. Burial will follow the service at Mission Beach Cemetery.
