Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Fort Wayne, Ind. for Warren G. Spriggs, 53, who died Friday, Feb. 15. Spriggs was a resident of Fort Wayne.
He was born in Champaign County on June 17, 1921, the son of Vinton and Pearl (Glick) Spriggs.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia, three daughters, Mrs. Cheryl Bauer, and Judy and Jackie Spriggs; one son, Ken; two grandchildren (all of Fort Wayne); three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Friend, St. Paris, Mrs. Herman (Darlene) Sawyer, Lynn, Ind., and Mrs. William (Jeanne) Dunlavy, Urbana; three brothers, William Spriggs, St. Paris, Howard Spriggs, Russell Point, and Harold Spriggs, Urbana; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Burial was made in Concorida (sic) Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.

She was a graduate of Concord High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lynn Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband, Herman Sawyer, two sons, Greg Sawyer of Williamsburg and Gary Sawyer of Xenia, Ohio; one brother, Howard Spriggs of North Lewisburg, Ohio; one grandson; two step-granddaughters, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and six brothers.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Thomas Funeral Home, 100 E. Sherman St., Lynn. The Rev. Tom Govin, the Rev. Gary Meek and Chaplain David Garman have been asked to officiate. Burial will be in the Spartanburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
