Obituary -- (Findagrave.com):

Paul Lewis Coplin of Potterville, a great story teller and practical joker, died April 21, 2022 at the age of 88. Paul was born in Battle Creek on March 3, 1934 to Bernard and Velma (Whittington) Coplin. Growing up in a family with three boys, it was no surprise that Paul loved sports and played everything he could in high school. Before he got his driver's license, Paul got his pilot's license and continued to enjoy flying for his entire life. He was also an FFA member, and took part in a men's choir for the State of Michigan. Paul worked for the Grand Trunk Railroad as a clerk in Lansing until his retirement. After retirement, Paul and his wife, Dorothy, both rode the bus for Middlebury schools to help special needs students.

A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Paul was never afraid to show others his faith in God. In his youth he often sang in a trio with his brothers at church, and as an adult Paul enjoyed driving bus to pick up kids for Sunday school. Living life to its fullest, he also encouraged those around him to follow their dreams. Paul was always ready to share a great story and enjoyed a good practical joke.

Paul is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Russow) Coplin; children, Steve (Lori) Coplin, Teresa Kocher, Kendra Cooke, Mark (Laurie) Coplin, Dale (Dorella) Page-Hunter, and Denise (Colby) Page; grandchildren, Abe (Michelle) Kocher, Samantha Dhainin, Abbey (Jason) Williamson, Kendrick (Danielle) Coplin, Annie (Jeremy) Lenhart, Nick Coplin, Micah (Kate) Coplin, Heather Cooke, Austin (Sheridan) Coplin, Bo Coplin (Emily Kappes), Elizabeth Cruz, Joshua (Amanda Hurst) Cruz, and Odie Sagredo-Page; and 21 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Velbern and John and step son David Hunter.
