She is buried under her married name of Chadd even though she married a 2nd spouse, Thomas Parks, after Jacob Chadd died Nov. 22, 1856 in Wapello Co. IA and he is buried in Williams Cemetery (his headstone is no longer there , the cemetery has not been taken care of and a railroad has gone through the area where the cemetery was).

Elizabeth Nutter was born on 18 November 1847 in Hocking Co., OH.¹ She married Manchester Howe Devol, son of Richmond Devol and Mary Lorilla Stacy, on 13 April 1865, Six children born to the marriage, four living as of 1900 census.² Elizabeth Nutter died on 22 January 1921.

She was buried in January 1921 in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington, Franklin Co., OH, Findagrave # 15673639.
