SEMLER, Charles E., age 91 of 1219 Huffman Ave. Died Monday at his residence. He was a retired realtor. Preceded in death by his wife, Edna, in 1972. He was a member and former president of Memorial United Church of Christ; a Lay member of the Southwest Ohio Synod of the Evangelical and Reform Church; past appraiser of Washington Federal Savings & Loan Co.; past president of Dayton Area Board of Realtors; member of Dayton Downtown Kiwanis Club. Before retirement he was president of the Charles E. Semler Realty Co. Survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Thelma Good, of Dayton, Mrs Robert (Virginia) Apple, of Kettering; 2 grandchildren Robert Charles Apple of Dayton, Bonnie Sue Caldemeyer of Great Lakes, Ill.; 1 great-grandchild Courtney Apple.
