William J. Fisher Dies While Driving
Information has been received here of the death in Kansas City, Mo., of William J. Fisher, 81, a former prominent resident of Oshkosh. He made music his profession, and old residents will remember him as baritone soloist at First Methodist Church.
Mr. Fisher died as the result of a cerebral hemorrhage, which occurred while driving his auto in downtown Kansas City, where he resided.
Surviving are his wife, Stella; three brothers, Charles H. Fisher, Oshkosh, Harold E. Fisher, Memphis, Tenn., and Nyol N. Fisher, Janesville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday at Langsford Funeral Home, Lees Summit, Mo.
William John Fisher lived on 4 April 1900 in 919 Third Street, Des Moines, Polk Co., IA.
