Appointment of Guardian Henry Conrad, an Imbecile:

The State of Ohio Hocking County. In the matter of the Guardianship of Henry Conrad an alleged Imbecile. Application. And now comes Edward Conrad, a resident of said county of Hocking and represents to said Court that one Henry Conrad aged 77 years, January 1, 1902, is a resident of said county, and has a legal settlement in the township of Goodhope in said County, and that the said Henry Conrad is an imbecile and by reason thereof is incapable of taking care of and preserving his property. The said Edward Conrad further represents that the whole estate of said Henry Conrad is as follows; to-wit: Personal proerty consisting of cash for rent of Gas lands, and grain rental each year amount $200.00 of the probable value of one hundred and fifty dollars real estate consisting of farming land situate in Section 14, Goodhope Township in said county amounting to 182 acres of the probable value of $3500.00 the probable annual rent of said real estate $300.00. Your petitioner therefore prays for the appointment of a guardian for the person and property of the said Henry Conrad. On 7 Jun 1902 Entry made - This day this cause came on to be heard on the application to appoint a guardian for Henry Conrad and the evidence, and do find upon the evidence that the said Henry Conrad is a resident of Hocking County and is an imbecile and is thereby incapable to take care of and protect his property; It is therefore ordered by the Court that a Guardian of the person and property of the said Henry Conrad be appointed by the Court.
