Marion W. Windle, 76, formerly of 425 Lutz Rd., died at 3:50 a.m. Tuesday in Ottawa Valley Hospital, where he has been a patient for 5 1/2 years.

Born Oct. 12, 1893, in Kenton, he was the son of William H. and Idabelle Fenton Windle. He never married. He was a former employe in the maintenance department of Bath High School.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Odus (Grace) Burggraf of Rt. 2, Caledonia, and a brother, John of Rt. 1, Forest.

He served as a cook in the Army during World War I.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Cantwell-Sweet Mortuary, Rev. Robert F. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Norman Cemetery, near Kenton.

Clyde Vernon Windle, 56, of 202 W. 16th St., died at 10:50 p.m. yesterday in Memorial Hospital where he had been a medical patient since last Thursday. He had been ill three months.

He was born in Kenton and was an employe of the Ohio Steel Foundry Co.

Surviving are his widow, Florence; three sons, John David, Henry Lewis and Richard Lee, all at home; three daughters, Dorothy Jean, 304 1/2 E. Market St.; Mrs. Ruth Wireman, 1714 Lennox Ave.; Mrs. Mary Lou Morton, 164 E. Vine St.; four brothers, Roy and John, Forest; Cecil, 1349 Glenn Ave., Marion, Route 5; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Burgars, Caledonia; Mrs. Ethel Montana, St. Marie, Idaho, and Mrs. Anna Williams, St. Johns; four grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

The body will remain in the Siferd & Son Funeral Home for services at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Colonial Chapel. The Rev. Troy Shepherd will officiate. Burial will be in Norman Cemetery, Kenton.

The Delta Democrat Times, Greenville, Mississippi dated July 2, 1973:

Pensacola, Fla. -- Robert P. Clay, Jr., 31, drowned while scuba diving at Pensacola some time Sunday. Funeral services are tentatively set for 10 am Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church in Greenville. Burial and graveside services will be in Lexington, Ky. on Thursday.

Wells Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Mr. Clay leaves his parents, Col. and Mrs. Robert P. Clay, Sr., of 1166 Fairview Avenue in Greenville; two sisters, Mrs. Ned R. Boyajian of San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Ben Magruder Disharoon of Port Gibson.

Mr. Clay received his early education at Greenville High School and Columbua Military School in Columbia, Tenn. He attended Delta State College in Cleveland.

He was a great-great-grandson of Henry Clay of Kentucky, famous statesman and orator. Mr. Clay was employed with Mitchell and High Consulting Engineers of Vicksburg.
