Edwin Grady Sinclair III, 74, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 17, 2017.
Born in Asheville, NC, he was the son of the late Edwin G. Sinclair, Jr. and Lena DeVault Sinclair. Ed was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid marksman, sportsman, and a friend to many.
Ed was a graduate of Wade Hampton High School and the President and owner of American Personnel and owner of Freedom Safe and Security Co. in Greenville, SC. He was a life member of the Sam Poe Lodge 284.
In addition to his wife, Heather, he is survived by one daughter, Nancy Sally, and a grandson, Nick Sally of Greenville, SC.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, March 23rd in the Chapel at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00-1:45pm.
The family would like to thank Michael Zeager, the staff at Palmetto Family Medicine, Hospice Care of SC, and his special caregivers.

Charles H. Stanton, Jr. 83, died peacefully on Friday, August 20, 2010 at his daughter's home in Greer, SC.
Mr. Stanton was born in 1927 in Swannanoa, NC to the late Charles Stanton, Sr. and Evelyn Gaston Stanton. He graduated from Swannanoa High School. After high school he entered the U.S. Navy and served active duty during WWII on the USS Sarsfield. Following active duty he attended the University of Tennessee where he obtained his MBA. After graduation Mr. Stanton went to work for General Motors where he retired after 30 years of service. Mr. Stanton also worked for Sears-Roebuck and permanently retired after 18 years of service. He was a member of the USS Sarsfield Association.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Billie D. Stanton; two daughters, Cathy Witherspoon of Greer, SC; and Laura Francis of Chesterfield, VA, and is preceded in death by daughter Linda Michaels and son Charles Ray Stanton. He has eight grandchildren and three great grand children.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday at Penland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Lewis Memorial Park following the service.
He was buried in August 2010 in Lewis Memorial Park, Asheville, Buncombe Co., NC.

Joseph Griffith Leedy, 24, of 230 Beail Street, died yesterday morning in Newton D. Baker VA Center, Martinsburg, where he had been admitted Sunday afternoon.
He was employed as a yard clerk with the Western Maryland Railway Company. A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy and graduated from LaSalle High School in 1945.
A native of Harrisburg, Pa., he was a son of John and Mae E. (Griffith) Leedy. Mr. Leedy was a member of SS. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church and J. Louis Wolford Post 1, Amvets.
Surviving besides his parents are his wife, Mrs. Pat (Cobb) Leedy; three children. Joseph G. Leedy Jr., Patricia Ann and Deborah Kay Leedy, at home; two brothers, John F. Leedy Jr., Robert D. Leedy, city.
The body is at George's Funeral Home.

Virginia Swafford Sisk, age 79, of Nebo, passed away Monday, December 29, 2008 at her residence. A native of Prince George County, Va., she was born July 12, 1929 to the late James D. Holler and Maggie Swafford. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Daniel Swafford and a step-father, George P. Bailey. She was a member of Nebo First Baptist Church and a homemaker. Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Sisk leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Ralph B. Sisk of the home, five daughters: Dianne Bennick and husband Leonard of Nebo, Kay Simmons of Old Fort, Sherry Jones and husband Johnny of Morganton, Patti Wood and husband Jack of Marion, Debbie Smith of Nebo; a sister, Louise Church and husband Harold of Marion; nine grandchildren, Missy Duckworth, Todd Bennick, Jonathan Bennick, Stephanie Lytle, Scott Simmons, Chris Jones, Tracy Jones, Daniel Smith and Darren Smith; nine great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 31 at 12:00 noon at Nebo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Hall Hollifield and Rev. Doug Worley officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00 noon, one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Nebo First Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, P. O. Box 336, Forest City, N. C. 28043.
