Elizabeth Robertson, 96, a member of the old Calvary Methodist church of New Albany which merged several years ago with Centenary Methodists, died at 2:20 a.m. Tuesday at the Nanne Lynne Manor, in St. Matthews, Ky.
She was the widow of Alvin Robertson and her only immediate survivors are a granddaughter and one great-grandson.
The body will be at the Mullineaux Funeral home here after 6 p. m. Tuesday pending funeral arrangements.
She was buried in August 1965 in Fairview Cemetery, New Albany, Floyd Co., IN.

John C. Brown, 77, a retired railroad engineer, of 2105 Ekin avenue, died at 7 o'clock Thursday morning in the residence a few minutes after cutting his throat with a razor.
Despondency over lingering illness was given as the cause by Frank T. Tyler, coroner.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mary C. Brown; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Eve, Floyd County, and Mrs. Charles Sweeney, Logansport, and four grandchildren.
Mr. Brown was a member of the Manzanita Tribe of Red Men.
She was buried in December 1946 in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Carr Twp., Clark Co., IN.
