Edward Eve
Edward Eve, 80, a retired farmer, died at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Floyd memorial hospital. He lived at 122 Bucheit avenue, Sellersburg, and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Minnie Brown Eve; three sons, John Eve, Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Clarence and Clifton Eve, both of Sellersburg; two brothers, Louie Eve and Gilbert Eve, both of New Albany; a sister, Mrs. Hattie O'Conner, New Albany; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The body will be at the Kraft Funeral home after 6 p.m. Wednesday.

JOHN EDWARD EVE, 88, of Harriman, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002, at the Rockwood Care & Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Eve was a former resident of Harriman and was retired from Oak Ridge National Laboratory where he worked for 35 years. He was a millwright.
He is survived by his wife, Alpha Hembree; his son, Joe Edward Eve of Lenoir City; his daughter, Barbara Prestayho and her husband, Archie, of Cary, N.C.; two stepsons, G. Wayne Hembree of Signal Mountain, N.C., and Loren M. Hembree and his wife, LaDonna, of Farragut; and his stepdaughter, Wanda M. Manning and her husband, George, of Rockwood.
Mr. Hembree (sic) is also survived by his brothers, Clarence Eve and Clifton Eve; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothea Heilig Eve; and by his parents, Joseph and Minnie Eve.
The funeral will be held at 8 tonight, Sept. 20, in the chapel of Evans Mortuary in Rockwood with the Rev. Louis T. Hill officiating.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at Graceland Cemetery in New Albany, Ind.
The family requests any memorials be in the form of donations to the Swan Pond Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Gerald L. Copeland, 427 Swan Pond Circle, Harriman, TN 37748.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the mortuary.

He was a native of New Albany, IN and was a self employed farmer and formerly worked for the Clark County Road Department. He was a retired custodian for the New Albany School System and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II, and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Eve; a daughter, Joyce Ann Eve; and a brother, John Eve. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Kelley and Lisa Bishop; six sons, Mike Eve, Bobby Eve, Steve Eve, Johnny Eve, Joe Eve, and David Eve; brother, Clifton Eve; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday at the Garr Funeral Home, with interment at Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, noon-8 p.m. Friday, and after 11 a.m. Saturday. Clifton "Toots" James Eve, 97, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018 in Sellersburg, Indiana. He was born on September 23, 1920 to the late Edward and Minnie (Brown) Eve in New Albany, Indiana. Mr. Eve was a Self-Employed Farmer and a member of the St. Joseph Hill Catholic Church in Sellersburg. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Elizabeth Eve and his two brothers, Pete Eve and John Eve.

Royal Center - Services for Patricia L. Martin, 82, of Corbin, Ky., will be held at 19:30 a.m. Monday at Harrison-Metzger, Royal Center Chapel.
She died at 3:55 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2006, at the Christian Health Care N. N. in Corbin, Ky.
Born April 2, 1924 in Royal Center, she was the daughter of Herbert H. McDonald and Esther Weland. She was married Sept. 29, 1943, in Flora to Paul E. Martin at the Rose of Sharon parsonage.
She was a homemaker and member of Baptist-Christian Church in Royal Center and church ladies auxiliary.
She is a 1942 graduate of Royal Center High School.
Surviving with her husband are her son, Richard and his wife, Eva Martin, Corbin, Ky.; one daughter, Marilyn Sue Moore, London, Ky.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pastor Richard Utterback will officiate at the services. Burial will be in the Cline Cemetery in Royal Center. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until the services Monday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist-Christian Church.
