SELLERSBURG -- Charles Robert Harris, 75, of Sebring, Fla., died there Friday at Highlands Regional Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Sellersburg and a retired maintenance mechanic for the old Louisville Cement Co., and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, the former Virginia Beyl; three daughters, Nonas Faye Harris of Clarksville, Brenda Ramsey of Atlanta and Sue Shelton of Chesapeake, Va.; a brother, Eugene Harris of Jeffersonville; three sisters, Syble Curtis of Texas, Vivian and Mary Hall of Underwood; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Garr Funeral Home, with burial in Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be at Garr Funeral Home 4-9 p.m. today.
He was buried in March 1996 in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, Floyd Co., IN.

Funeral services for Nonas Harris, 64, of Sellersburg, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Garr Funeral home with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
She was employed for many years at the Sheltered Workshop of New Hope Services and was a member of Sellersburg First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Brenda Ramsey, Blanco, Texas and Sue Shelton, Norfolk, Va.; cousins, Paul and Linda Harris, Sellersburg, who cared for her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Virginia Harris.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18.
She was buried in September 2006 in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, Floyd Co., IN.

NEW ALBANY -- Irma King Gillis, 83, died this morning at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
She lived at Lincoln Hills nursing Home. She was the former Irma Stinson. She was a native of New Albany and a member of the Epworth Methodist Church in Phoenix, Ariz.
She was the widow of Arthur E. King.
Survivors include two daughters, Jane Parlier of new Albany and Marilyn Hatfield of Phoenix, Ariz.; four sisters, May Thomas, Agnes Ang and Lillian Jenkins of New Albany and Emma Knasel of Georgetown; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Dieckmann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
There will be no visitation. Services will be private followed by cremation.
