ROUGE. Jane (Stanley) Rouge, 80, widow of Gene P. Rouge, of 3 Walker Drive, Simsbury, died Tuesday (May 11) at McLean Home.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she had lived in Simsbury the past 24 years. She was a member of the Simsbury United Methodist Church and a member of the Rebekah Circle of the church. She graduated from Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio with a B.A. in music and was a pianist for many many years. She taught piano and actively volunteered at church functions and area convalescent homes.

She leaves a son, David Welles Rouge of New York City, N.Y.; a daughter, Joan Rouge of Simsbury; four grandchildren, Kelly Holmes Brooke, Christopher Holmes, Vincent and Merita Rouge; and a great-granddaughter, Kristin Brooke.

A memorial service will be Saturday, May 15, 10 a.m., at the Simsbury United Methodist Church, 799 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury. The Rev. Lawrence M. Snow will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland , Ohio at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the American Cancer Society 670 Prospect Ave., Hartford, or the Simsbury United Methodist Church, 799 Hopmeadow St.,

SELLERS, Richard Ward

85, of Springfield, died October 21, 2013 at the Glaesner Care Center at Oakwood Village. He was born in Springfield on May 29th, 1928, the son of the late Ward Lutz and Sarah Virginia (Brain) Sellers. Graduated from Springfield High School, at tended Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio and served with the Marines during the Korean War. He retired from the Brain Lumber Company where he had worked his entire career. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church where he sang in the choir for over 60 years. Member of the Clark County Masonic Lodge. Volunteered for many years with his wife, Joyce, at the Clark County Historical Society Heritage Center.

Preceded in death by his wife of 62 Lana Joyce Marie (Schaeffer) Sellers; survived by his two children, Mark (Christine) Sellers, Lynn (Joseph) Spencley and their 5 grandchildren, Christopher Sellers, Katie (Travis) Hall, Lauren, Lisa and Eric Spencley, all of Columbus, Ohio.

A service in celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Covenant Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Raymond Stewart officiating. A private committal ceremony will be held in Ferncliff Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 201 N. Limestone St., Springfield, Ohio 45503, Community Mercy Hospice, 444 N. Harding Rd., Springfield, Ohio 45504, or Clark County Historical Society, 117 S. Fountain Ave., Springfield, Ohio 45502.
