Hannah Greenleaf was born in 1783 in Westmoreland Co., PA. She married Robert A. Boyd. She died on 29 April 1849 in Mt. Vernon, Linn Co., IA.

She was buried about 1849 in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Mt. Vernon, Linn Co., IA, Hannah's headstone is very worn and broken through the date of her death, so no dates can be seen clearly. However the newspaper obituary for her husband Robert Boyd, who died in April, 1875, says he "buried his wife 26 years ago."
