Note: Multiple online genealogies, and Findagrave.com, show this John Snepp as the husband of a Minnie Richardson and the father of her children Joseph (1888), Dora (1890) and others. It is a fact that Joseph Snepp (1888-1919) is buried in Mountain View Cemetery at Pueblo, Colorado where John Dryden Snepp and his wife Mary A. Snow are buried. But they are in entirely different areas of the cemetery. This Joseph Snepp was born at either Kansas or Kentucky, per the 1900 and 1910 censuses of Pueblo, Colorado. John D. Snepp married Mary Alberta Snow in 1889 in Kansas, and they are listed in the 1900 census of Miami Township, Montgomery County, Ohio, farming, married for ten years with no children, and living in the same house as his mother and two youngest sisters. In 1910 they are listed in Fremont County, Colorado, running a general store, and again reporting no children born to the marriage, while Joseph Snepp was listed in the Pueblo Insane Asylum. Other than the apparently coincidental burial in the same cemetery at Pueblo, I find no evidence that Joseph Snepp was a son of John Dryden Snepp. DLB 2018.

Gene Jones was born Dec 24, 1919 in Bell County to Harmond D Bryant and Anna V Moreland Bryant. She attended business school and the University of Tennessee. She lived most of her life in Bartlett before residing the last three years in Austin. Mrs Jones was a member of the Church of Christ, the Cornelia Wilson Garden Club of Bartlett, and was an Emeritus member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband E T Jones Jr in April 25, 1978; second husband Jessie Wilson; and two sisters.
Survivors include a daughter Panchita Jones Garrett of Austin; a son E T Jones III of Dallas; one stepson Sam Wilson; and three grandchildren Stacy Garrett Suhre of Gainesville, Virginia, Jennifer Jones and E T Jones IV of Dallas; one step-daughter Sarah Wilson of Houston and two great-grandchildren Victoria Catherine and Carolina Elizabeth Suhre.
Goodnight Funeral Home was in charge.
