Mary N. Brilhart, of Hanover, formerly of Manchester, MD, died March 25, 2012. She was the wife of the late C. Thomas Brilhart.

Born June 16, 1913, in Lineboro, she was the daughter of the late J. Samuel and Ellen Wentz Wertz.

Years ago, she worked at North Carroll School in the cafeteria. She had also worked at the Lineboro Post Office and Baugher's Restaurant.

Mrs. Brilhart was a charter member of the North Carroll Senior Center and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester, MD. She enjoyed square dancing, card clubs, gardening, painting, quilting, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Merl and Evonne Brilhart of Hanover, and Robert and Louise Brilhart of Hanover; her grandchildren and spouses, Todd and Lisa Brilhart, Ted and Beverly Brilhart, Dirk and Christine Brilhart, Lisa and Matthew Cleveland, and Jill Brilhart; and her seven great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Merl Wertz, Grace Martin, Jessie Wertz, Ellen McGrew, and Carrie Elseroad.

The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. March 29, 2012, at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, Manchester, MD, where a funeral service will be 10 a.m. March 30. Interment will be in St. David's Cemetery, Hanover.
