R. Lawrence Ball, 86, passed away Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, at Sunset Memorial Hospital in Las Vegas.
Born Sept. 1, 1913, in Toluca to Roscoe L. and Lucy Burgess Ball, he married Hildamae Parker on April 26, 1941, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Suzanne Holling; one son, Lawrence; one sister, Elizabeth Lambourn; and one brother, Kendall.
One brother preceded him in death.
He received his bachelor of arts degree in 1935 and his law degree in 1937, both from the University of Illinois.
He began his practice in Peoria in 1939, where he practiced with Clarence W. Heyl. In 1941, he formed a partnership with Lowell R. McConnell under the name of Ball and McConnell, where he practiced until 1944. He later formed an association with Oswald D. Vespa, with whom he practiced until 1969. He then was a sole practitioner until retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Peoria County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
Burial will be in Wenona Cemetery in Wenona.

This memorial is based upon information in this obituary on file at the Cumberland County Historical Society, Greenup, Illinois.
Mrs. Preston (Kathryn) Jenuine of La Costa, Calif., formerly of Greenup and Toledo, died at 3:25 p.m. Sunday (Nov 14, 1982) in her home.
The funeral and burial will be held at 2 p.m. today in Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Oceanside, California. Memorials may be made to the Greenup Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Jenuine was born in Parkersburg, a daughte of Clyde and Mae Parker Webb. She married Preston Jenuine in 1934. He survives. Mrs. Jenuine was a former teacher in the Greenup and Toledo area.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Kay Kerr of California; and one grandchild.

The body was brought to Parkersburg Wednesday. Dr. Parker was thirty-six years old. He was a graduate of the Chicago Veterinary College and had entered upon a successful career when stricken. He is survived by his wife.

Clara Belle Moore, 94, Parkersburg, died 1:45 a.m. December 10, 1989, at Burgin Nursing Manor in Olney.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12 at Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem with Bro. Arthur Ritchie officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. tonight (Monday) at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Parkersburg Christian Church.
Mrs. Moore was born November 4, 1895 in Edwards County, the daughter of Hugh Marion Findley and Mary (Bowers) Findley. She married Frank Gerard Parker May 21, 1914 and he died Dec. 21, 1915. A second marriage was to Bert Moore, Nov. 3, 1921 in Charleston and he died Nov. 1, 1966.
She was a teller at the Parkersburg Bank for 26 years. She collected electric and phone bills at her home. Mrs. Moore was a member of the Parkersburg Christian Church.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was buried in December 1989 in Crest Haven Memorial Park, Claremont, Richland Co., IL, Findagrave #66552131.

Mr. Kinkade, born in Richland county on August 23, 1856, was the son of Joseph and Mary Ann Kinkade. He was united in marriage with Miss Cora Barnes on October 26, 1897.
Surviving him are his wife, a brother, Robert Kinkade, and one sister, Mrs. G.W. Hall, both of Cherryville, Kansas.
