RODNEY COST
Rodney Lynn Cost, 50, of Conover (Carysville), Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at University Hospital, in Cincinnati, on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at 12:13 p.m.
He was born on Feb. 8, 1952, the son of Richard Alfred Cost and Waunetta (Cavender) Cost Laine, both deceased.
Mr. Cost had served with the United States Army and was employed by Everingham Roofing, St. Paris. He was a member of the Eagles, in Versailles.
Survivors include five daughters, Tammy (Dan) Welty, of Christiansburg, and Rosemarie, Katrina Michelle, Colleen Nicole, and Andriana Renae Cost, all of Springfield; three grandchildren, Jacob, Anthony and Nathan Welty, of Christiansburg, four brothers, Richard (Marsha) Cost, of Sidney, Eldon (Julia) Cost, of Versailles, Marvin (Paula) Cost, of Riverside, and Clifford Cost, of Minster; two sisters, Freda (Robert) Millette, of Troy, and Dorothy (David) Lowe, of Old Washington; stepfather, Jack L. Laine, of Conover; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceeded in death by one brother, William Cost, and one niece, Kelly Little.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. in the RICHESON-WICKHAM AND ATKINS FUNERAL HOME, 216 S. Springfield St., St. Paris, with Pastor Steve Daniels officiating.
Burial will take place in Casstown Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, Aug. 22 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services.
