CARL E. "Carty" FILBRUN
Age 76, of New Carlisle, OH, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, October 21, 2016, after a lengthy illness.
He was born on September 22, 1940, the son of the late Theodore R. and Lean T. (Cost) Filbrun.
Carty was a farmer until he went to work for Navistar, where he retired after 35 years of service.
He was a volunteer fireman with Pike Township Fire and Rescue for 58 years.
He was a very engaged father and grandfather, always wanting to spend time with his family.
Carty is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sara "Sally"; daughters, Alicia (Curt) Sagraves and Renee (Steve) Conley; grandchildren, Scarlett, Paleeza, Talent, Renni, Skylar, Trevor, Morgan, Ryan and Meghan; brothers, Richard (Darlene) Filbrun and Kenneth (Cindy) Filbrun; sister, Janet Knife; twin sister, Carryl (Bob) Anderson; sisters-in-law, Judy, Patti (Steve); brother-in-law, Dan; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.[:cr:][:cr:].

Mary Louise Wetzel White, of Knoxville, formerly of Cincinnati, OH and Naples, FL, died Monday evening, May 5, 2008 at her home.
Mary Lou was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, was active with the Senior Kids and a former choir member. She was retired from Randall J. Condon School for Handicapped Children in Cincinnati with 22 years of service as a Physical Therapist. She received her certification in Physical Therapy from the State University of Iowa. Mary Lou was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a master's degree in Guidance and Counseling and was member of Mystic 13 of the National Mortar Board Association. She was a member of the Welcome Wagon Club, Newcomers Club, Women's Omni Club, Frank Strang Senior Center and was a former MS. Senior Knoxville. She was active in the Red Hat Society.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Thomas White; parents, Louis J. Wetzel and Sarah Elizabeth Steigerwald Wetzel; brothers, Lawrence, Edward and Joseph Obermeyer.
Survivors: daughter, Andrea J. White Eberle M.D. of AR; granddaughters, Rachel C. Eberle of Knoxville and Monica B. Antonacci and husband Joseph of AR; great grandsons, Corey, Scott and Alexander and Nathan Antonacci; sisters, Theresa Anderson and husband Paul of FL, Sara Knepfle, Bernadette Hunneman, Angela Breen and husband, Patrick all of Cincinnati, OH; brothers, John Wetzel and wife Betty of FL, David Wetzel and wife Eileen of IL, Leo Wetzel and wife Rita of FL; many nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Michael Woods celebrant. The family will receive friends afterwards in The Hall.
