ARNOLD PAUL ZUCK , 63, of Chadwick, a farmer, died Sunday, June 28, 1992 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, after surgery. He was a kidney transplant recipient in January 1987.
This year, he would have marked the 50th year of farming on the same farm on Telegraph Road. A member of Lanark Church of the Brethren, he served as a deacon and was a former Sunday school teacher and youth group leader. He was a former Lanark Lions Club member and a former commissioner of the Lanark youth baseball league. From 1973 to 1977, he was Rock Creek Township supervisor. He served in the Army from 1953 to 1955, stationed in Okinawa.
A son of Homer A. and Edmo F.(Rahn) Zuck, he was born May 26, 1929 in rural Lanark. In 1947, he graduated from Lanark High School.
He and Carolee Ann Manning were married Aug. 16, 1952 in Evangelical United Brethren Church, Brookville.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Kimberley (Mark) Alber of Freeport and Kristan (Timothy) Newhouse of Wyoming, Mich.; one son, Kurtis Paul (Shelly) Zuck of Dixon; two grandchildren, Sarah Beth Alber and Maxwell John Newhouse; and one brother, Richard (Evelyn) Zuck of Lanark. His parents preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Lanark Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Dan Rusmisel officiating. Burial will be in the Lanark Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mount Carroll. Memorials have been established for Lanark Church of the Brethren and Douglas T. Miller transplant fund.

Charles W. Noll
Charles W. Noll, 85, 8412 15th Ave., died Friday morning at Kenosha Memorial Hospital after a two-year illness.
He was born on Nov. 26, 1893 in Waynesboro, Pa., the son of the later Mr. and Mrs. John (Ida Fraver) Noll.
He received his education in Waynesboro schools and later moved to Rockford, Ill. He came to Kenosha in 1968 and made his home with his daughter.
In Pennsylvania, on June 1, 1918, he married Helen Arnold. She died on Jan. 1, 1965.
He was an Army veteran of World War I, 1965.
He was an Army veteran of World War I and served from 1916 until 1918.
He was formerly employed by the Ingersoll Machine Milling Co. in Rockford.
He was a member of the Grace Methodist Church of Rockford, past united commander and secretary treasurer of the Travelers of America, past commander of Dugger American Legion Post at Milledgeville, Ill.
He was a member of the Walter R. Crag American Legion Post, Black Hawk Voiture 40 et 8, and the Senior Citizens and Men’s Garden Clubs in Rockford.
Surviving are a son, John H., Gastonia, N.C.; a daughter, Mrs. John (Mildred) Supple, Kenosha; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles, and two sisters and six brothers.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Lila Staff Noll, 58, Schaumburg, died in her home Wednesday after a sudden illness.
She was employed as a clerk by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Survivors include two daughters, Sue Hertzberg, Chicago, and Debra Nichols, Louisville, Ky.; and three sisters, Arlene Kocher, Rockton, and Shirley Greer and Barbara Staff, both of Rockford.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Lauterberg-Oehler Funeral Home, Arlington Heights.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Park, Rockford.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Helen J. (Allen) Kelly, 89, of Oakley Courts Freeport, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015.
Born April 22, 1925 in rural Milledgeville she was the daughter of Orville and Clara (Ostick) Allen. In June of 1941 she and Edwin Noll were united in marriage and he preceded her in death in 1944. She then married Harold Kelly on September 12, 1945 and he also preceded her in death on September 7, 2006.
She was a graduate of Milledgeville High School and then Chicago School of Music. She and Harold owned and operated Paneling Unlimited in Freeport. Helen was a member of Milledgeville Brethren Church, VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards and played piano for the VFW Auxiliary for twenty years.
Surviving are her children Mickey (James) Jewell of San Antonio, TX, Joann Shafer of Monroe, WI, Catherine Kelly of San Antonio, TX, Mark (Caralee) Kelly of Schaumburg, IL, Rosanne (Jim Roth) Kelly of Yorkville, IL. 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Millhouse of Polo.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two husbands; two sisters, Eva Simpson, Villetta Brundage; and one brother, Orville Allen.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, followed by a service at 7 p.m. Burial will be at the Fairmount Cemetery in Polo.

DiPiazza, Frank Andrew
PRINCETON – Frank Andrew DiPiazza, age 76, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020. He was born on Jan. 19, 1944, in Madison, the son of Frank and Rose (Salerno) DiPiazza.
Frank graduated from west High School in 1965 and proudly served in the U.S. Marine Reserves. He married Tracy Supple on Aug. 14, 1970, in Madison. Frank worked as a pipe fitter for Local No. 601.
Frank loved Corvettes and Harleys. Coming from a musical family, he developed a passion for music that he passed on to his children. He enjoyed tying flies and going fly fishing throughout the United States along with Canada and Costa Rica. Family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his loyal canine companion, Rosie, who will dearly miss him.
Frank is survived by his wife, Tracy; daughters, Andrea DiPiazza and Alyson DiPiazza; son Anthony (Christina) DiPiazza; mother, Rose; sister, Angela (Earyl) Brabender; five grandsons, Tobias DiPiazza, Sam DiPiazza, Andy DiPiazza, Vinny DiPiazza, and Dominic DiPiazza; two granddaughters, Hayleigh Reese and Johannis Harris; and his beloved dog, Rosie. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank; granddaughter, Maiyah DiPiazza; and cousin, Carolyn Bonanno.
