She and Donald Robert Harvey were divorced before June 1963. She died on 1 June 1997 in West Lafayette, Tippecanoe Co., IN,

KENTLAND-- Mary Harvey, 75, formerly of Kentland, died Sunday morning, June 1, in her residence at Friendship House on Cumberland Avenue in West Lafayette.

Mrs. Harvey owned and operated E&M Cafe in Kentland for several years and worked for Dormyer Industries also in Kentland.

Born in Kewanna on June 8, 1921, she lived in Goodland and Kentland most of her life and moved to West Lafayette 10 years ago.

She married Earl Smith in 1940, and he died in 1941 (sic). She married Donald Harvey in 1943.

Mrs. Harvey was the past president of the Friendship House Council in West Lafayette.

Surviving are three sons, James Smith of Kentland, David Harvey of Watseka, Ill., and Marvin Harvey of Brook; three daughters, Jane Vale of West Lafayette, Martha Render of Brook and Mary Beth Plunk of Winchester, Ky.; and a sister, Phyllis Golinvaux of Dubuque, Iowa.



She was buried in June 1997 in Saint Josephs Cemetery, Kentland, Newton Co., IN, Findagrave #148596849.
