FISHER -- Mrs. Zoe E. Fisher, 80, died Wednesday at the Jackson County hospital, where she had been a patient three years. Mrs. Fisher was born in Kansas and had lived in Kansas City 25 years. Her husband, William J. Fisher, a printer, died in 1955. She was a member of the Westmoreland Kas. Christian church. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Elgie Dye, Moline, Kas., and Mrs Myrtle Heywood, Hopper, Neb., and five brothers, Edward Knickerbocker, Carthage, Mo.; Stephen Knickerbocker, Phoenix, Ariz., and Douglas Knickerbocker, John Knickerbocker and Ervin Knickerbocker, Moline. Services will be at 2 o'clock Saturday at the Lee's Summit Baptist church. Burial will be in Lee's Summit cemetery.

Jerry R. Lord, 72. former resident of Muscatine, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Blaine Bliven, at Fredonia, at 1:30 a. m. today. He had been employed by the Rock Island railroad for many years.

Mr. Lord, the son of Richard and Sarah Lord, was born in St Claire, Mo., in 1866 and moved to the Conesville community in February, 1914. He resided there until Feb. 1936, when he-moved to Muscatine and remained there until a few weeks ago. He married Lillie May Knickerbocker, her death occurring on July 10, 1935.

Seventeen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a half-brother, J. Miller of Montrose, Mo., also survive.

Funeral rites will be held at the Richie Funeral home Wednesday with the Rev. M. F. Campbell of the Fredonia Methodist church in charge.

Burial will be in the Columbus City cemetery.
