Funeral services for Mary Lou Knight, 50, of Newark, are at noon Wednesday at Warren F. Kauber Funeral Home with Pastor Lonny Alshire officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg.

Mrs. Knight, manager of Callanders Cleaners and attended Licking Baptist Church, died Aug. 9, 1998, at her residence. She was born May 8, 1948 at Gallipolis, to the late Joseph L. And Dorothy (Wahl) Persinger.

She is survived by one son, Mark Knight of Newark; two daughters, Tina (Frank) Persinger of Newark, and Mary (Russ) Williams of Groveport; three grandchildren, Javen Nobel, Robert Persinger and Maykaylee Samsal; two sisters, Louise (Jim) Biser of Whitehall, and Dorothy (Ray) Hall of Gallipolis; two brothers, Jesse (Elizabeth) Persinger of Gahanna, and Joseph (Rebecca) Persinger; first husband, Charles Mader of Columbus; and second husband, Ronald Knight of Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 today at the funeral home, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Licking County and The American Cancer Society.



She was buried in August 1998 in Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, Franklin Co., OH, Findagrave #94113142.

She later served as a counselor at Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, NC.
