She married Clarence William Eve, son of Edward John Eve and Minnie N. Brown; Mary remarried to Clarence Edward Combs on 15 NOV 1975 at Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana. Mary Catherine McCafferty and Clarence William Eve were divorced before 15 November 1975. She died on 25 September 2000 in Vencor Hospital, Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY.

She was buried in September 2000 in Mount Tabor Cemetery, New Albany, Floyd Co., IN, Findagrave #48392337.

Dillon Thomas Eve, 2 months, of Newport News, died on Sunday, Feb. 14, 1999 at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center.

The family wish to express their gratitude to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital.

He is survived by his father, Richard David Eve, Jr., and mother, Tiffany Michelle Oman Eve; twin brother, Damian London; maternal grandparents, Gale and Susan Aldrich of Newport News; and paternal grandparents, Richard and Diane Eve of Sellersburg, Ind.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, in Parklawn Memorial Park, by the Rev. Henry Sudduth. Assemble on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home.

Joyce Rosalind Eve, age 76, of Maryville, TN, formerly of Knoxville, TN, passed away on December 28th, 2017.

She retired from Food City in Fountain City after many years of dedicated service.

She was preceded in death by parents, Andy & Ella Gardner; brothers, Robert Gardner, Harold Gardner, and Joseph Bitton Gardner; sisters, Aileen Mayfield and Jo Ann Green.

She is survived by son, Eric Eve and wife Cynthia; grandchildren, Erica Eve, Elijah Eve, and David Vananda; and her sisters, Frances Floyd and Lois Crooks.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 6th, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with Celebration of Life to follow at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Doug Floyd will be officiating.
