Calvin R. Jenkins, 54, of New Carlisle, Ohio and formerly of Troy, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at Jewish Hospital, Louisville, KY.

He was born in Springfield, Ohio on November 10, 1951 to the late Richard E. and Mary Margaret (Wagner) Jenkins. His mother survives and resides in Springfield. Calvin married Lou Ann Musser on April 15, 1974 and she survives.

Other survivors include his 3 daughters, Kimberly D. Mumpower and friend Cynthia Wood of Troy, Traci Jenkins and fiancé David Downey of Troy, Nicole Boggs of Troy; 6 grandchildren, Taylor and Elijah Mumpower, Devin and Jauntae Blakely, Marcus Downey, James C. "JC" Boggs; 5 brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Cleta Chance of Springfield, Jerry R. and Pearl Jenkins of Springfield, Gary and Deby Jenkins of Springfield, Tim and Linda Jenkins of Springfield, Jonathan Jenkins of New Haven, CT; 2 sisters and brother-in-law, Jenny and Kenny Holycross of Medway, Cathy Bumpus Jenkins and friend Bill Jackson of Springfield; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Calvin was a member of Tipp City Church of Christ.

He graduated from Northwestern High School in 1969 and attended Urbana University. Calvin was formerly employed with Metropolitan Housing in Troy. Previously he was employed with A.O. Smith, Tipp City, North Ridge Heating, Springfield, Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield.

There will be a funeral held on Monday, November 6, 2006, 11:00 A.M. at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Minister Robert Vincent officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, November 5, 2006, from 2:00 – 5:00 P.M. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc., PO Box 163549, Columbus, Ohio 43216-3549, or American Cancer Society, 1130 Vester Ave., Suite G, Springfield, Ohio 45503.

NOTE: Kimberly Mumpower was Lou Ann's daughter from her first marriage to Fred Mumpower.

Dennis L. Reeder, 66, of Springfield, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020 after a short struggle with dementia. He was born November 19, 1953 in Springfield, the son of the late Robert Lee and Edna Jean (Hinkle) Reeder.

He was a graduate of South High School and attended Clark State Community College. Dennis was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served our country proudly. Dennis enjoyed fishing, gardening, golfing, riding his Harley, and spending time with family and friends. He was a five-year cancer survivor.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Lorrie (Shaffer) Reeder; and special grandson, Kaiden L. Reeder who resides with them. He is also survived by his children, Mary J. Kaffenbarger, Sherri L. Reeder, and Ashlee M. Reeder; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald L. Reeder; and one sister, Linda D. (Reeder) Stallard.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 12-1 p.m. in the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home. A celebration of life will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home, with Chaplain Harry Stewart officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park with military honors.

He was buried in July 2020 in Rose Hill Burial Park, Springfield, Clark Co., OH, Findagrave #212135970.
