Laura E. Fuller
Laura E. "Dolly" Fuller, was born June 11, 1903, at Wamego, Kansas and passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 1987 at the Minneapolis Good Samaritan Center. She was adopted at the age of three months by Samuel and Julia Martin, and had lived in Minneapolis most of her life. She was one to attempt and succeed. She learned to fly aircraft when she was in her 40's, attended beauty school in her 50's, and operated Dolly's Beauty Shop for many years. She also worked as a nurse's aide. She learned Braille in later years after becoming blind. Dolly attended the First Baptist Church in Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Fred Bussart in 1928, and by her second husband Ralph Fuller in 1977.
Survivors include her four daughters, Julia Rodewald and her husband Gene of Sedalia, MO; June Hardin of Oklahoma City, Dolores Walborn and husband Jim of Hutchinson and Betty Morse and husband Cliff of Omaha, NB; 12 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were one daughter "Cookie" Fuller, brother Charles Johnson and sister Thelma Cook. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Nov. 16, 1987, 10:30 a.m. at the Shields Funeral Home with Rev. Vern Finley officiating. Organist was Mrs. Bill Hemenway. Casket bearers were Pat Morse, Stacey Hardin, Jim Walborn, Scott Diemer, Gary Getz and Cliff Morse. Interment was in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis.

G. Lewis “Lew” “Happy” Taylor, age 80, of Bristol, Tenn., peacefully went home surrounded by family, on Sunday, November 17, 2019.
He was born June 11, 1939 in Elizabethton, Tenn., a son of the late George and Clara Reeves Taylor. Lew was a Hall of Fame Athlete at Elizabethton High School and Milligan College and was an avid golfer. His greatest joys in life were spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and all the children he taught. He was a member of Central Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ruthann Currey Taylor, of almost 60 years; daughters, Debbie Devault (Tim), Becky Taylor, Amy Taylor Dietz (Dave); son, Tripp Taylor (Brandy); grandchildren, Kelly (Colby), Jace (Hannah), Morgan, DJ, Connor, Ryann and Sydnee; and sister, Betsy (Tom).
The funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2019 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Mark Overton and Minister Bob Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6:45 p.m. prior to the service. The inurnment will be private at Happy Valley Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Christian Church, Youth Group, 424 Melrose St, Bristol, TN 37620, in Lew’s memory.

John F. Taylor
John Frank Taylor, 58, of Wytheville, Va., died Monday, February 7, 2000, at Wythe County Community Hospital.
Mr. Taylor was a graduate of East Tennessee State University.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Lewis Taylor Sr., and a daughter, Cathy A. Taylor.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jeffrey Hudgins, Richmond, Va.; three grandchildren, Will, Mac and Jay Hudgins, all of Richmond, Va.; his mother, Clara Reeves Taylor, Elizabethton; a sister and brother-in-law, Betsy and Tom Ely, Wytheville, Va.; and a brother and sister-in-law, Lew and Ruthann Taylor, Harrisburg, Pa.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, at Happy Valley Memorial Park in Elizabethton.

REEVES, Jane H., 84, of Richmond, passed from this life January 26, 2019. She is survived by her children, Beth Jones (Glen), Robert Reeves (Becky), Carol Molinares (Daniel) and James Reeves (Jackie); sister, Bettie Lindsey; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Brandon, Emily, Lexie, Tori and Sophia; great-grandchildren, Will and Theo; and nephew Charles Lindsey.
Jane was a dedicated member of Bethany Christian Church where she was organist for over 40 years. She was a graduate of Lynchburg College, and served as an elementary school teacher and piano teacher throughout her life. Jane’s music will play on in the hearts and souls of the people who love her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Blileys’-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd. A memorial ceremony will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 2, at Bethany Christian Church, 5400 Forest Hill Ave. Interment will be private.
