Stine and Mary Emma Clippinger, on 30 January 1924 in Clark Co., OH. Florence E. Dyer died after April 1930 in Michigan (probably) Florence Dyer Stine appears to have been the Florence Dyer listed on the 1930 census of Detroit, ED 754, sheet 3B, line 65, renting at 1286 Fairview Street, age 29, marital status single, boarder, typist at a tire factory. She is not found in the 1940 census. She may or may not have been the Florence Stine, age 50, widowed, elementary school teacher, listed on the 1950 census of Arcadia, Lapeer Co., ED 44-3, sheet 21, line 29.

Mary Jane Ruhl

GENEVA — Mary Jane Ruhl, age 91, a resident of Geneva, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 29, 2012.

Born August 22, 1920, in Geneva, she was the daughter of Lucile (Daniels) and Roscoe G. Casselman. On May 19, 1943, she married John H. Ruhl.

Mary Jane worked as a secretary at Geneva Metal Wheel, Geneva United Methodist Church, Spencer Elementary School and as a Deputy Registrar for the Department of Motor Vehicles in Geneva.

She was an active member of Geneva First United Methodist Church, serving as financial secretary, editor of The Communicator and various other committees. She was a volunteer at Geneva Memorial Hospital and a member of TOPS.

Her joys in life were her family and friends. She enjoyed reading and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.

During her lengthy illness, Mary Jane was lovingly and compassionately cared for by Hospice of the Western Reserve, Comfort Keepers and Ashtabula Regional Home Health Service. The family expresses their gratitude to the caregivers for the care that she received.

She is survived by her husband John "Jack" H. Ruhl of Geneva; daughters, Lynn (Takis) Larentzos and Janice (Wayne) Musolf, both of Warren, Ohio, and Marjorie "Jodie" Ruhl of Lakewood, Ohio; grandchildren, Litsa (Geno) Rubino and Maria (Savas) Magiassos of Warren, James Larentzos of Rosedale, Md., Jaclyn (Charlie) Lambis of Greensboro, N.C., and Wade (Rachel Greathouse) Musolf and Michael (Kirsten) Musolf of Warren;

nine great-grandchildren; sister, Martha (Casselman) Wilk of Willoughby Hills, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard D. Casselman; and great-grandson, Jazper Musolf.

Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, June 1st, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio, and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church prior to the Service.

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, June 2nd, at Geneva First United Methodist Church, 89 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Final resting place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.

The family suggests contributions be made to the Memorial Fund, Geneva First United Methodist Church, 89 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio 44041.

CLEARY

Marion Ruhl Cleary, 74, retired nurse and homemaker, 29 year resident of Des Plaines, formerly of Riverdale, IL. Died Thursday, August 31, at Holy Family Hospital, Des Plaines, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Cleary is survived by her husband Peter; daughter Gretchen (Robert) Torstensson of Rolling Meadows; 3 sons Peter (Darlene) Ruhl of Tinley Park, Michael (Sandra) Ruhl of Coal City, and Paul (Susan) Ruhl of Darien, IL. In honor of Mrs. Cleary wishes, there will be no wake. A private mass for the family is next Saturday. The is requesting no flowers, rather memorials to Marion Catholic High School, Chicago Heights, or donations to Animal Welfare League.
