He was the son of Clyde Patrick and Jessie O. Bacon Caldwell. He married Jorae Ayers on Apr. 5, 1979, in El Reno. He was a correctional security officer for the Oklahoma State Penitentiary. He enjoyed fishing, wood carving, hunting and being with his grandkids. Survivors include his wife, Jorae Patrick, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Misty Patrick, of Kiowa; one daughter, Bridgette Patrick, of McAlester; five grandchildren, Reid Earon Patrick, and MacKinzie, Haley, Casandra and Allison; one brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Janet Patrick, of Jackfork Community; four sisters, Shiela Benn, of Smithville, Ann Luker, of McAlester, LaDonna Jones, of McAlester, and Tawana and Tony Graham, of Guymon, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jessie Bacon Caldwell; grandmother, Elizabeth Petty; grandfathers, Oscar Lee Bacon and Guy Petty, and brother, Harley Grant. Pallbearers will be Dale Smith, Butch Campbell, Chris Winters, Jim Baisle, Lewis Martin and Rick Johnston. Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Johnson, Matt Dugan, Tony Dugan, J.C. Harris and Clint Farmer. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m.. Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Brody Morris officiating. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.

He was buried in November 2009 in Oak Hill Memorial Park, McAlester, Pittsburg Co., OK, Findagrave #44264438.

Michael Neal Stiffler, 58, of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022. Michael was born on September 15, 1963 in Edmond, Oklahoma to the late Charles Ralph Stiffler and Alma Luedena Keeton.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Alma Stiffler. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 15 years, Margarita Stiffler; son, Joshua Stiffler and daughter, Annamarie Douglas, and husband, Daniel Douglas; grandchildren, Bentley James Douglas and Lincoln Anderson Leon Douglas; brothers and sister in laws, Harold & Mary Stiffler, Claude & Judy Stiffler, and Darin & Tamara Stiffler; and a sister, Linda Stiffler.

He joined the United States Navy and was honorably discharged. He graduated from Edmond Memorial High School and graduated in the Navy at Hospital Corps School at Great Lakes, IL in September 1983. He also worked at Memorial Park Cemetery and Gracelawn Cemetery. He worked overseas at Gunsan, South Korea at U.S. Airforce Base as a civilian. He came back to the United States for good to Edmond, Oklahoma, he worked for Caldwell Transport at Will Rogers Airport.

He loved fishing so much and playing golf sometimes. He never met a stranger as he always had a story to tell or jokes, even in times that he was in the hospital. He was beyond kind and he loved big in his own way.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2022 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, OK.
