Biography

Sherry Loveda Zeigler was born on 27 September 1949 in St. Louis, MO; Her obituary says she was the daughter of "Pastor Wesley and Agnes Marie, nee King, Zeigler". Wesley (1899-1981) and wife Marie (Lagermann) (1903-1999) Zeigler were listed on the 1950 census of Venice, Madison Co., IL and their youngest child was a son, Carl, age 5. Their son, Wesley Zeigler, Jr. (1928-2000) and wife Jesse Cannon (1930-1982) were also listed on the 1950 census, at St. Louis, MO, with an infant daughter, Judith Ann Zeigler, born 22 AUG 1949 in Missouri, and she is listed in public records at Washington and Beaufort, MO as recently as 2020. There are no matching "Loveda" surnamed females listed on the 1950 census. The siblings named in her obituary do not align with the children of Wesley, Sr., so probably they were later children of Wesley, Jr., who can be found online referred to as "Rev." Sherry Loveda Zeigler was apparently an adopted daughter into one of the above Zeigler families. DLB 2025. She married Franklin Dean Goss, son of Charles Gideon Goss and Wilma Ellen Stiffler, on 10 April 1999 in Madison Co. (probably), IL,
