Former Fort Recovery resident Barbara Ann Kneisly, 62, 320 Forest Park Drive, Apt. 203, Dayton, died Jan. 14, 2004, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
She was born April 21, 1941, in Dayton, to John and Viola Wendel Kneisly.
Surviving are a son, Richard Guntle, Angola, Ind.; a daughter, Lisa (Ken) Johnson, Muncie, Ind.; a brother, Ted of Berne, Ind.; a sister, Marilyn Campbell, Richmond, Ind.; and five grandchildren.
A son, Randy Guntle, is deceased.
She worked as a technician at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Fairborn, retiring in 2003 after 18 years of service and was active with the base's victim witness hotline.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Deacon John Parker officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Fort Recovery.

Marilyn Campbell, 67, of Richmond, died Jan. 27, 2010, at Reid Hospital.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on March 27, 1942, to John and Viola Wendel Kneisly. She was a graduate of Fort Recovery High School and a member of Holy Family Church.
She retired from J. M. Hutton Co., in 2008. She enjoyed flowers and watching birds and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Jenny Campbell and Shawn Campbell both of Richmond, Danielle Cornwall of Ohio and Misty Helm of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Khristina Campbell, Brandon Miller, Dustin Campbell, Shatona Campbell, Darius Helm and Taylor Campbell; and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by a brother, Ted Kneisly; and a sister, Barbara Kneisley (sic).
Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb 1, 2010, at Holy Family Church, Richmond. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. before the service at the church. Burial will be in St. Andrew Cemetery. Community Family Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Theodore Joseph Kneisly was born on 18 June 1947 in Ft. Recovery, Mercer Co., OH. He married Rita Mae Noggler on 20 June 1974 in Mercer Co., OH; Rita remarried to Rex W. Evans, b.11 OCT 1960, on 20 JUN 1981, and lived at Geneva, Indiana. Rex was just 14 when Rita's first child, Scott, was born. Based on the fact that all of the publicly available birth index records show her children's father as Rex Evans, and given his birth year, it appears that Rex legally adopted all of her four children, who were born Kneislys. All four were named as Theodore's surviving children in his obituary. DLB 2025. He and Rita Mae Noggler were divorced before 20 June 1981. He married

Theodore, 60, of Berne, died at 6:36 p.m., at Lutheran Hospital. The cause of death was not available.
He was born to John E. and Viola M. (Wendell) Kneisly. His wife, Patricia, survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Scott and Bradley; two daughters, Christina and Sabrina; a stepson, Keith Horine Jr., Berne; three stepdaughters, Brenda (William) Cosner, Eaton, Denise (James) Harlow, Ethel, and Penny (Terry) Huston, Winchester,; and a sister, Marilyn Campbell, Richmond.
Deceased is a sister, Barbara Ann.
He was a self-employed transporter for the Amish Community. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in Vietnam where he earned the Purple Heart.
