Ernest S. Campbell

Ernest Stanley Campbell, 73, 1811 S. Ninth St., died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at Cherish Nursing Center.

He was born May 15, 1925, in Richmond, Ky., and had been a resident of Richmond, Ind., since 1967.

He was a retired employee of Wayne Works and a former employee of Avco. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of American Legion Moore-Irvin Post 359 and Mount Moriah Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Jenny M. Campbell and F. Dannielle Cornwall, both of Richmond, and Misty S. Campbell of Indianapolis; three sons, Shawn P. Campbell and Stanley Meece, both of Richmond, and Keith Bone of Anchorage, Ky.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mariah Campbell Lee.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Moriah Baptist Church with the Rev. Van C. Bentley officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Doan & Mills Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
