83, of Jeffersonville, died at 1:00 AM Sunday in Fayette County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Pleasant View, Ohio and was a member of the Jeffersonville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milford E., two brothers, Byron (Ben) Flax and Heber Flax. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. S. Corrine Mowery of South Charleston; nephews, William D. Mowery of Springfield, J. Michael Flas and Jack L. Flax of Washington Court House; nieces, Betty Jane Silver of South Vienna, Geraldine Shadley of Sabina, and Fonda Flax Carroll of Washington Court House. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday in the Morrow Funeral Home, Jeffersonville. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:00 PM Tuesday.
