Clarence W. Seidel, age 78, of Cambridge, died Sunday, October 6, 2002, at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 15, 1924 to the late Arno Seidel and Freda Rocklage Seidel.
Mr. Seidel was a Mechanical Engineer, Tool designer, Machinist, and Owner - Operator of Seidel Machine, inc., of Cambridge. He was in the Army during W.W.II, where he received 2 Bronze Stars. He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Cambridge. He also was a member of the Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship International.
Clarence's wife, Frieda R. Paugstat Seidel, lives in Cambridge, they were married on June 12, 1959.
Surviving are: 4 daughters; Frances L. Seidel Dale Moore of Sterling, CO., Arnelle Kathleen Seidel Michael Craft of Las Vegas, NV., Amy Ruth Seidel Hany Malak of Monrova, CA., Teresa Kay Seidel Scott Johnson of Cripple Creek, CO., 3 sons; Clarence ''Bud'' Herbert Cruz -ann Seidel of Palmdale, CA., James Walter Seidel of Cambridge, OH., Ronald Roy Linda Seidel of Chillicothe, OH., 2 sisters Freida Arthur Maggert of Atlanta, MI., Delores Bill Follis of Mt. Pulaski, ILL., 2 brothers; Arno Estelle Seidel of Dayton, OH., Ralph Roketa Seidel of Brookville, OH., 10 grandchildren; Carrie, Alliston, Andrew, Nathan, Joshua, Brian, Peter, Isabella, Sophia, Makayla, 3 great grandaughters; Taylor, Sabrina and Paige. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Proceeding him in death is a daughter Paula Seidel and a son John Carl Seidel.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 9, 2002 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The service will be on Thursday, October 10, 2002 at 11:00am with Rev. Ken Mansfield officiating. Burial will follow on the family farm, where Military Graveside Rites will be conducted.
