Hannah Newman was born in 1775 in Hampshire Co., VA (now WV.) She married Richard Blue in 1794, Marriage recorded in the family Bible of Uriah Blue. She died on 29 June 1838.

She was buried in 1838 in Barnes Blue Family Cemetery, Three Churches, Hampshire Co., VA (now WV), Findagrave #81793971.
