Samuel H. Betts, 75,died at his home in Lynn at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Survivors are the wife, Edna Belle;six daughters, Hazel Wood of Richmond, Lela Curtis of Jeffersonville, Betty Hartzler of Richmond, Marie Rudy of Phoenix, Ariz., Esther Collings of Anderson, In., Garnet Rupe of Fountain City: two sons, Wilbert and Serrel both of Lynn; three brothers, Noah of Morgantown and Alva of Eldorado, Ohio, and Edward of Ocean View, Del.; one sister, Mrs. Will Smith of Modoc; and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Thomas mortuary at Lynn.

He was buried in July 1939 in Quaker Lynn Cemetery, Lynn, Randolph Co., IN, Findagrave #64244391.
